Your Mother Should Go was a 1967 Rutles Song, originally used in the Tragical History Tour film, being the last performance. It was intially released on the Tragical History Tour album. Dirk McQuickly stated in a 1980 interview that the song was inspired by his mother getting drunk on New Years Eve when McQuickly was 23, his mother would throw wine bottles at relatives and his uncle would ask Dirk to take her home.
